Winklevoss Twins Lose Facebook Settlement Appeal

Despite their claims that Facebook did not provide an accurate valuation, a judge ruled that Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss must accept their $65 million settlement from the social networking behemoth and move on. SUCKS for them.
A U.S. appeals court ruled that the settlement stands.

The Winklevoss twins (seen here with the actor who portrayed them in The Social Network, Armie Hammer) say Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg stole their idea.

Zuckerberg and Facebook settled with the twins in '08. The Winklevii have since tried to secure more $$ by claiming that Facebook is guilty of securities fraud.
Chief Judge Alex Kozinski wrote in Monday’s ruling that the twins already settled the dispute and signed a release of all claims against Facebook. End of story.
With both the district court and appeals court in agreement, it seems this may be the end of the Winklevosses’ claim to any additional shares of Facebook.
They will therefore have to cope with a mere $65 million to go with their genetically freakish good looks and Harvard degrees. Talk about getting shafted.

Jordin Sparks Slims Down

Jordin Sparks made headlines over the weekend, but it wasn't for a new album or single.
Instead, the former American Idol champion posed on the red carpet of Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night in Phoenix with a new figure sources say is 30 pounds lighter than the one she carried around in 2010.
Slimmed down a size 6, Sparks shined at the event - which isn't to say she was overweight before. But there is a noticeable difference in Jordin's look from just a month earlier, isn't there? Compare these before and after pics:

Sparks has said she loves "food and curves" too much to ever be considered "stick thin," adding a couple years ago: "I learned that I'm not ever going to be a size 2. I would look so weird as a size 2. Somebody would blow and I would fall right over. It just wouldn't be healthy."

Chris Brown EXPLODES After Good Morning America Interview, Breaks Window, Storms Off Shirtless

If Chris Brown ever wants to be remembered for something besides beating Rihanna, flying into a rage because people ask him about it won't help.
We've tried to temper our criticism of the guy, given that it's been two years since the assault took place. But his own actions make it impossible here.
Upset by on-air questions about Rihanna on Good Morning America, Brown lost it behind the scenes, smashing a window and storming off shirtless.

Just a few hours ago, Chris performed and was interviewed by Robin Roberts live from the Times Square studio when she asked about the Rihanna incident.
Brown tried to redirect questions to focus on his new album, F.A.M.E., but Roberts continued to ask about Chris' legal issues stemming from the attack.
After the interview, Brown absolutely freaked, storming into his dressing room and screaming so loud, the people in hair and makeup called security.
Brown was so out of control, he smashed a window with a chair in his dressing room, shattering the glass. Some shards fell onto 43rd and Broadway.
By the time security rushed in, Brown ripped off his shirt and peaced out, blowing off a second performance he was supposed to do for ABC's website.

Ellen DeGeneres to Selena Gomez: LIAR!

Selena Gomez is such a liar.
So states Ellen DeGeneres during an interview that will air today.
Joking around with the young singer, the comedian pulls out a clip from a few months ago, one in which Selena laughs off rumors about dating Justin Bieber by referring to him as akin to a "little brother."

Ellen DeGeneres gifted Selena Gomez with the ultimate present: a Justin Bieber pillow.

"He's not like your little brother, is he?" Ellen asks the blushing star. "No, he's not. And he's a fantastic guy. You can't try to hide that forever."
This is the second time this month that Gomez has been faced with questions about Bieber on a national talk show.

Kate Major Accuses Michael Lohan of Throwing Her Across Room, Choking Her With Towel

Looks like THG was correct in its theory that Michael Lohan's arrest for domestic violence last night stemmed from an incident with his ex, Kate Major.
It appears this violent confrontation got ugly really fast.
According to TMZ, citing what she told the cops, MiLo went to his apartment, which shared with Kate, last night. She hasn't lived there for a while.

Kate, who also dated Jon Gosselin, was briefly engaged to MiLo last year.

Kate dropped by to pick up some of her stuff, but Michael Lohan became upset that Kate was packing up for good, and quickly "went ballistic."
The two started arguing, and Kate turned her back on him, only to be grabbed and thrown across the room, striking the bedpost with her shoulder.
Kate Major claims Michael took a towel and began choking her, too.

Lawrence Taylor Sentenced to Probation, No Jail Time in Sexual Misconduct Case

NFL legend Lawrence Taylor was sentenced to six years probation today in his sexual misconduct case, avoiding jail time as part of a plea bargain.
Taylor, who appeared with his wife Lynette, admitted to having sex with an underage girl (she was 16) who had been prostituted to him last year.
LT now must register as a sex offender. A New York court will hold a hearing April 12 to determine what sex offender registry level to assign him.

The victim, whose name has not been released, appeared in court and hoped to make a statement along with her famed attorney, Gloria Allred.
The judge did not allow a victim statement, however, because he said they are not permitted for misdemeanor convictions, which this one was.
Taylor was arrested last May and maintained that the girl, who was a runaway, told him she was 19. He admitted to paying her $300 for sex.
